A Wilted Flower

They say you never really know what you have until it's gone.

I fostered my niece for almost 2 years until we found her a permanent home, My husband and I had every intention of adopting her, but life had other plans. It was the most difficult decision we've ever had to make, but I know it was for the best because of everything we've been through, and I know the family she is with now will be everything she needs. It's been a few years since she called me "momma" and I'll never forget the day she left. In fact she's one of the main reasons I began writing this book "A Wilted Flower" and has basically been my inspiration for everything I've done since then. Hopefully one day I can be hers.
